今日もとてもいいお天気でしたね☀
午前中、バタフライさんと2歳児さんはCookingでした♪
今回は黒糖蒸しパン作りをしました。
まずは先生からお砂糖についてのお話がありました☆
黒糖、上白糖、グラニュー糖の3つがありそれぞれの特徴を教えてもらいました。
「なんで茶色い色なの?」「なんでこんなにさらさらなの!?」と
子ども達は驚いていました!

その後は生地作りです!
粉や砂糖、牛乳を順番に入れて混ぜていきます。
混ぜるのに少し力が必要ですが2歳児さんも頑張って上手に混ぜていました☆

混ざったら、カップへ移しレーズンをのせました♡
そしてそれを蒸し器に入れます!
蒸し器の蒸気を見ると大興奮でした✨
おやつに食べるので、仕上がりが楽しみですね♡

0,1歳児さんは昭和記念公園へ行きました☆
葉っぱがたくさんある所へ行き、木のトンネルをくぐったり、
木の陰に隠れてお友達をびっくりさせたり思いきり体を動かして遊びました!
上着に葉っぱがたくさんついてしまうほどでした☺💦

This afternoon Butterfly class got to eat the brown sugar and raisin bread that they baked in the morning! Their afternoon continued to involve cooking, as they had a science lesson and were learning about freezing and melting. They started by thinking about what might happen to ice if it became warm, they continued this thought experiment to think about what would then happen to the water if they were to keep heating it up. After deducing that it would evaporate, it was time to test our hypothesis. We threw some ice in a pan and watched it melt, bubble and finally evaporate. We then tried the same experiment with water with green and red food colouring, to see if the steam would be coloured too. It turns out that although the bubbles were different colours, the steam would always be white.

Caterpillar class spent their afternoon using watercolours to make a beautiful present for their grandparents, in time for the upcoming Doll's Festival. After finishing these colourful trinkets they played together in the classroom.
